How Your Membership Works

Credit System

To enable members to obtain the maximum flexibility and use of the boats, Pacific Boating’s memberships are structured under a credit system. Upon joining, all members are allocated 300 credits which are distributed evenly across the four quarters of your membership year to encourage members to enjoy our beautiful waterways all year round. You then simply use your credits as you enjoy the boats. Once you have used all your credits you are able to access the boats on an unlimited basis through our unique standby booking system

Usage   Credits

Week Days (9.30am – 5.00pm) 10
Weekend Days 15
Evening (6.30pm onwards) 5*
Public Holidays 15

For Example:

If you took the boat out from your membership class for Friday (weekday), overnight and Saturday (weekend day), you would simply use 10+5+15 credits.

Class Transfers

As a member you can try other boats within the Pacific Boating Fleet. When members use alternative classes, the credits used for the cruise are simply scaled according to their membership class.

For Example:

If you are a 37 Class Member and you wish to take out a vessel in the 29 Class you would use 60% of the normal credits for that cruise. If you are a 29 Class Member and you wish to take out a vessel in the 37 Class, you would use 200% of the credits you would normally use.
